Thank you to everyone who brought their Christmas Cards to school in January. We had over 5,000 this year and we donated them to Marks & Spencer in Beckenham. By recycling cards via the Marks & Spencer Recycling Scheme we have helped turn unwanted waste into much needed trees. These will
be planted by the Woodland Trust, who have been planting, restoring and protecting woodland for over 40 years.

You may have noticed lots of new additions to the School Garden as you walk past. Thanks to
Sainsbury’s Beckenham Community Project we now have a garden shed with storage facilities, seating and a potting bench. These items have really enhanced the school garden and we hope pupils will be able to spend more time in the garden in the future.
