The first meeting of the Parents’ Forum took place on 18th June. Approximately 90 parents attended. The aim of the Parents’ Forum is to improve communications with parents on a regular basis and to encourage parents’ active involvement in developments at the school. It also enables the school to get feedback from parents. Issues discussed included the new school development plan and the proposed shortening of the school day.
At the autumn term meeting the focus was an information update on the School Development Plan, and to seek parental views on a new school feedback/marking policy, which is currently being developed by the Senior Management Team.
