Safer Internet Day

On Tuesday 5th February, Balgowan joined schools and organizations around the UK celebrating Safer Internet Day. As part of this, children had an assembly considering what rights they have and what permissions they may have to give when using their electronic devices. Children were encouraged to say ‘NO!’ if they do not want a photo or video of themselves shared online and to ask an adult if they were unsure about the personal information an app is asking for.

To build a picture of what your needs are and how the school can support you with teaching your child about staying safe online, we would like parents to fill out the following 5 minute survey.

It is completely anonymous, should only take five minutes, and will help us plan future events that will be useful to you. Please take this opportunity to have your say!

Keep an eye out for further safety bulletins and updates.
