All classrooms have access to ICT including the Internet, and the school has sets of wireless laptops providing weekly timetabled ICT opportunities for all classes within the school.  The school uses a detailed scheme of work for the planned ICT Curriculum across  the Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2.

The successful use of Information and Communication Technology tools is essential for lessons. We aim to ensure that pupils are confident and competent users, knowledgeable about a range of hardware and software and able to apply their knowledge, skills and understanding of ICT across the full curriculum.  As pupils’ increased capability in ICT becomes more secure, we aim to provide opportunities which support and promote initiative and aid independent learning.  We believe it is important that pupils are able to make informed judgements about when and where to use ICT to best effect as well as to consider its implications for home and work both now and in the future.

The school has  robust E-safety procedures  to ensure careful use when pupils are searching for information from the Internet.

All classrooms are fully equipped with Interactive Whiteboards to support teaching and learning.
