Changes to our Anti-Bullying and Behaviour Policy
The revised Anti-Bullying Policy and Behaviour Policy which was ratified by governors in the summer term is now available on the website. Please see the policy section.
In the revised Anti-Bullying Policy there is more emphasis on:
- what is not bullying as well as what is bullying
- equalities and protected groups
- links to safeguarding, mental health and well being
- cyber bullying
- clear communication with parents, staff and pupils
In the revised Behaviour Policy there are new sections on:
- searching pupils and confiscating
- the power to use reasonable force and physical contact
- the power to discipline beyond the school gate
- bullying
- reflection and reconciliation
