Science Week

During science week each year group took part in a workshop to do
with connections, which is the theme this science week. In assembly for KS2, Mrs Atkins put mentos into three different drinks to see what would happen. They all made giant explosions! Year 3 and 4 took part in a lego workshop where we had to build something to connect the world after COVID.
Year 5 and 6 took part in a fossil hunting workshop where they learnt more about evolution. Year Reception, 1 and 2 had a silly science workshop where they watched loads of cool experiments happen using things like forces and chemical reactions.
In our science lesson we used paper and worked together in teams to make a sturdy bridge to hold weights. We all a great time at science week - it was so much fun!
