School Council Visit to Parliament

 On Monday 2nd October the KS2 school council visited the Houses of Parliament. We travelled by train and after an exciting journey through London, we arrived, and it was gigantic! Our tour guide showed us around, telling us all about the history of the building and we even got the chance to go inside the House of Lords and House of Commons! There was so much to see and so much to do, we learnt all about rules, laws and rights as well as all of the parties such as Labour, Liberal Democrats and Conservatives. I found the trip so interesting and it was so much fun! Thanks to the staff for taking us - although I think they had as much (if not more) fun as we did!
