Author Visit Aisling Fowler

On 13th December we hosted the exciting author Aisling Fowler. Aisling spoke to Y5 and 6 about her fantasy trilogy, Fireborn, taking children on a magical journey through Icegaard and following the heroine, Twelve, on her quest with her new elemental powers. The children leant how Aisling became an author, heard about the creative processes involved in developing her inspiring characters, and she even encouraged the children to conjure up their own monster character ideas! The children absolutely loved the experience and were able to purchase a signed book from Aisling. We are very lucky that our librarian, Mrs Abbott, arranged such a fantastic opportunity for the children.
