Language Ambassadors

Language Ambassadors, who either speak a second language or have gained enough knowledge of a language, offer some of their lunch times, once a week, to teach French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Russian to Year 2 children in small groups. Year 6’s have the responsibility of preparing vocabulary and phrases to share and repeat in a fun way, providing an initial ‘taster’ to a new language. The Year 2 children enjoy learning from their older role models and are very proud when they remember, and correctly pronounce, what they have learnt. We are hoping that the enjoyment of learning a language will continue! Keep up the good work Year 2 and Year 6!
