Maths Quiz Club- Live Finals at Oxford University!

12 Children from across years 5 and 6 were selected to compete in the National Maths Quiz Club competition. They were split into four teams and had to work together to complete live maths questions against 47 other teams in the 'Area Heat'.

All three teams were amazing, showing great problem solving, teamwork and positive attitude. Going into the final round, all three teams were closing in on strong finishing positions with one team leading the entire pack.

After a nervous final five questions, the results were revealed... Two of our teams finished in the top 30 and the 'Balgowan 1' team held onto top spot, winning the heat!

The winning team have now qualified for the 'Live National Finals' held at Oxford University!
